Bryant & Stratton - Financial Aid Officer

Summary
The Financial Aid Officer is responsible for advising and assisting current and prospective students with all aspects of financial aid. This includes accurately and efficiently advising, packaging, and awarding students their financial aid. Weekly reports on the status of student’s application process will be prepared and distributed.

Functions:

• Counsel prospective students and/or parents regarding financial aid.
• Efficiently assist in the completion of the FAFSA, Stafford loan application and other financial aid documentation as needed with the incoming students.
• Review financial aid package with student.
• Verify accuracy of the students ISIR.
• Accurately package financial aid awards in the SCT Banner system.
• Tracking and monitoring student’s awards to ensure funds are accurately received on a timely basis
• Follow up with students on any missing or inaccurate information.
• Adhere to all Federal and State Financial Aid Guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree required, Bachelors degree a plus. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse group, in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills required in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of SCT Banner, Title IV and VA Financial Aid Programs.

Bryant & Stratton College - High School Coordinator

High School Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage a high school territory for the Hampton Campus of Bryant & Stratton College.
• Actively support recruitment of traditional students through scheduling workshops for HS presenters and conducting workshops to primarily high school senior classes to secure qualified leads. 
• Visit all high schools in an assigned territory to update literature and meet with guidance staff.
• Consistently perform complete and timely sales activity to include lead generation, telemarketing, appt setting, interviewing, enrolling, and follow-up.
• Assist in the coordination of all high school admissions functions at the Hampton Campus (i.e., College Fairs, Field Trips, Influencer Relations, Scholarships, Open Houses, etc).
• Educate high school personnel on the features and benefits of Bryant & Stratton College.
• Support the achievement of territory enrollment goals.
• Achieve personal ‘visited applied’ targets as well as traditional enrollment goal.
• Achieve new senior lead generation goals monthly and annually.
• Achieve scholarship attendance objectives through promotion in the high schools and telemarketing.
• Represent the college as needed internally or externally on various high school related committees.
• All other duties as assigned by the DOA.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Bryant & Stratton College is currently seeking a Technology Assistant. This person will provide administrative technical support and is responsible for providing customer service to co-workers, faculty and students at the campus.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will serve as an integral member of the Technology team. Responsibilities will include:

• Support and maintain administrative and academic local area networks including day-to-day operations and user security
• Back-ups
• Installations of hardware and software, desk top troubleshooting
• Special Projects as assigned
• Customer service and quick problem solving

The ability to communicate effectively, written and oral, with a diverse group of students and peers is required.  Day, evening and Saturday morning hours are required. This person must have the ability to think creatively, ask probing questions, recognize problems, formulate solutions, and have good follow-up skills. Our new Technology Assistant will have a positive attitude and handle problems in a professional and courteous manner, as well as work with other departments to assist them in reaching their goals.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience and the candidate should be working on the degree. The candidate must possess at least 1 year of related work experience or evidence of specialized training or competency in the Information Technology field. The candidate must be proficient and have experience with Microsoft Office, ISA Server, Microsoft Server 2008 and 2003, WSUS Server, Windows ISA server, and a firm understanding of Group Policy and AD.
